
The Plasma Cutting Table Specialist is responsible for traveling to customer sites and completing repairs and installations in a safe and timely matter. This position will troubleshoot and diagnose equipment through advanced plasma cutting table operations while providing top customer service to all clients of the Company. They will calibrate, update software, program, promote and perform preventative maintenance for clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot/diagnose and implement solutions on equipment
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance
· Assist with installation and calibration of plasma cutting systems and related equipment
· Assist in the service & repair of other welding & cutting equipment as assigned by manager
· Effectively read schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams
· Train operators on proper use of plasma cutting process and safety protocols
· Recommend inventory of spare parts and other consumables for plasma equipment
· Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
· Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
· Communicate and cultivate the Core Values of OSC internally and externally
· Attend weekly department L-10 meetings, bringing problems and solutions to increase efficiency
· Increase knowledge of position through continuous education and training
Other Responsibilities:
· Perform other job duties as assigned and fill in for other employees in their absence.
Educations, Experience and Skills:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance or related field required
· 2+ years of automated cutting/CNC experience preferred
· Substantial knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems
· Substantial proficiency and experience with plasma cutting technology and software.
· Ability to troubleshoot with problem-solving skills.
· Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.

Equipment Used:
· Responsible for the safe operation of forklifts, dollies, overhead cranes, and company vehicles.
· Office equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ERP Software
· Various power and handheld tools, such as grinders, impact wrenches, drills, flow meters, amp clamps, engine compressor, electrical testing equipment, etc.
· Safety shoes and safety glasses required; gloves, hearing protection, and welding gear when applicable
Job Specifications/Requirements:
Ability to stand on your feet 3 to 4 hours a day with frequent walking, twisting, bending, reaching, grasping, sitting, and repetitive motions. Frequent lifting/carrying of 25-35lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs. Frequent pushing/pulling of 75lbs. The hourly range for this position is $28.50/hour - $37/hour. This position may be eligible for commission opportunities. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity.
